AI can accurately detect left ventricular dysfunction from electrocardiograms

Artificial intelligence (AI) analysis of electrocardiogram (ECG) data can simultaneously detect subtypes of left ventricular (LV) dysfunction and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), according to a study published online July 28 in the Journal of the American Heart Association.
